What you will do:

• Assess the need for social work services, identify risks, and determine appropriate interventions.
• Liaise with professionals, statutory bodies, and voluntary agencies to deliver the best service for clients.
• Manage and prioritise an allocated workload in line with Council policies.
• Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks.
• Prepare for and contribute to supervision sessions and staff meetings.
• Participate in evaluation and development of services, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Supervise trainee staff and students when required.

This position calls for someone with experience and a passion for working in adult social care, particularly within statutory social work services. Your skills in crisis intervention, safeguarding, and liaising with health professionals will be invaluable.
