Job Description – Primary ECT

  • Teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

Primary ECT – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching and supporting students across key stage 1 or Key Stage 2
  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire students to progress and learn
  • Supporting children with their Literacy, numeracy and social development
  • Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and adjusting your methods to suit individual needs
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages students’ participation
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for every student

Primary ECT – What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • A degree in Primary Education or a related field
  • A genuine passion for teaching and the desire to inspire students
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging method
  • A flexible approach to teaching, and adapt lessons to meet needs of all learners
  • A proactive attitude, excited to collaborate with others and continually develop professionally
