Key Stage 1 Teacher

Flourish Education are currently recruiting a KS1 Primary Teacher to work within an OFSTED rated ‘good’ school in Coventry. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to work on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

As a KS1 Primary Teacher at our client’s school, you will be expected to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, work alongside the Teaching Assistant, safeguard all students, mark student’s work in line with the school policy, attend staff meetings, take part in the playground duty rota, and create a positive learning environment.

This KS1 Primary Teacher role is to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year.

Required skills and experience for this KS1 Primary Teacher Role:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum
• High expectations of pupil behaviour
• The ability to plan and deliver lessons across different year groups.
• To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members.
• To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
• Experience Teaching Read, Write, Inc
• Experience of whole class teaching in a school with a high proportion of EAL
