Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a part-time Teaching Assistant with general SEND experience for a 1-form entry primary school in the Essington area. This role includes working alongside the classroom Teacher to promote effective learning and engagement for pupils in KS1.
Candidates will be expected to provide general support to the class teacher in the management of the class – through small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions. This role is excellent for individuals wanting to build up their experience in SEND roles across various age ranges.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Previous SEND experience
- Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 1
- Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
- A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
- A minimum of 2 excellent references
Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant (LSA) you will receive
- Competitive Salary – between £85-£100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £16,578.90-£19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
