Pe Teacher

Are you a passionate PE teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary PE teacher to start immediately, full time until the end of the academic year.

Our client is based in Walsall with a “good” Ofsted rating and are passionate about learning and in cultivating an exceptional educational environment in which our young people are enabled to be the very best version of themselves. The ideal candidate will be confident teaching theory and practical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

• Teach theory and practical PE Lessons throughout KS3 and KS4.
• Planning, marking, and assessment required.
• Comply with the school behaviour policy.
• Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
• Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

Required skills and experience for the PE Teacher role:

• Specialist in PE (physical education)
• Confident teaching boys and girls PE up to GCSE
• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
• Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
• Previous school experience teaching PE.
