Teaching Assistant

Flourish Education have an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a 3-form entry Primary School in Rowley Regis. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on students' learning and development in a welcoming and inclusive setting.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support across year 2 and year 3, aiding in classroom behavioural management and assist with delivering the National Curriculum. This is a full-time role, and the school is looking for someone to start ASAP and continue until the end of the academic year.

The responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant Role:

• Supporting students in KS1 and KS2 in line with the National Curriculum
• Assisting class teachers with daily classroom management and activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment
• Providing one-to-one or small group support as needed
• Helping to plan and prepare learning materials
• Working closely with other staff members to support the development of pupils

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) in a Primary School
• Strong Behaviour Management skills
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum and the needs of KS1 and KS2 students
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
• Team Teach training (desirable)
• Previous experience working in UK schools is essential
