Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a thriving, OFSTED-rated "Good" Infants School in Hall Green. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive Infants school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in the classroom, helping students reach their full potential.

Our client is a large Infants School in Hall Green looking for a Teaching Assistant, to support Early Years (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) classes. Responsibilities will include working closely with teachers to provide a stimulating and safe learning environment. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the possibility of continuing through the end of the academic year.

The Responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant Role:

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons, ensuring pupils stay engaged and focused.
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students in EYFS and KS1.
• Help manage classroom behaviour, following the school's strong behavioural policies.
• Work with students on key areas of the National Curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working in UK Primary Schools, particularly within EYFS and KS1.
• Strong Behavioural Management skills.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
