Nursery Teacher

Flourish Education is delighted to be working with an Ofsted-rated Good Nursery School in Rednal. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with shared planning responsibilities and a focus on delivering the Birth to 5 framework.

This role is a full class teaching position, including planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a Nursery class. This is a long-term, full-time position, 8:30-16:00, starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year.

As a Nursery Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Birth to 5 framework.
• Conducting observations, assessments, and maintaining Learning Journeys.
• Working alongside other teachers and giving direction to teaching assistants effectively.
• Creating a nurturing environment in line with Early Years (EYFS) standards.
• Managing a classroom with a focus on positive behavioural management.

To succeed as an Early Years Teacher in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience as a Class Teacher in a Local Authority Nursery School setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Birth to 5 framework and EYFS curriculum.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with staff and families to support child development.
