Year 1 Teacher

Flourish Education are seeking a Year 1 Teacher in a "Good" rated Primary school in Gloucester.  This role is perfect for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a rewarding teaching environment.

Our client Starting in January, this position runs until the end of the academic year and is a full-time position. This position involves full class planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a year 1 class and would including marking, observing and assessing pupils work and feeding back to parents.

This role would not be suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) and would require someone with experience in Year 1.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Take full class responsibilities, including planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
• Mark and assess students' work in line with the National Curriculum.
• Foster excellent behaviour management within the classroom.
• Build a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Primary School team to support student progress.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1), particularly in a Year 1 class.
• A proven track record of excellent classroom management.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective lesson planning.
• Two excellent references supporting your suitability as a Primary Teacher.
