Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
- Graduate Science Teaching Assistant.
- A degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or another STEM subject with a 2:1 or higher.
- Strong passion for education and a desire to support young learners in achieving their goals.
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., mentoring, tutoring) is an advantage but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, supportive attitude.
Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – Job Specification
- Full-time, long-term role offering up to £520 per week.
- Assist in delivering engaging science lessons alongside experienced teachers.
- Provide one-on-one and small group interventions to support students in mastering challenging scientific concepts.
- Work with high-achieving students aiming for top university placements as well as those requiring extra help to meet progress benchmarks.
- Play an active role in fostering a curiosity-driven classroom environment where students feel supported and inspired.
- Sociable working hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM – 16:00 PM.
