We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our bustling Assessment and Intervention team in beautiful Exeter. For three months, you'll earn £44 per hour while playing a crucial role in shaping young lives and supporting families. This full-time position (Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00) involves time in the office to ensure timely child visits, working directly with families, and handling emergencies or section 47 on your cases. What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive Child and Family Assessments to evaluate the needs of the children and families in your caseload.
- Perform section 47 Child Protection enquiries to determine if children require additional support or protection.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Specialist Practitioners and family support staff.
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with children, young people, and their families to guide them towards achieving positive outcomes.
- Manage your time effectively between office days and field visits to deliver timely interventions and maintain child safety.
