What you will do:
- Assess and treat your own caseload of clients, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
- Provide, develop, and manage highly specialised interventions tailored to the needs of children and young people.
- Clinically supervise less experienced psychologists, psychological therapists, assistants, and trainees, guiding them to reach their potential.
- Coordinate the provision of specialist services and offer expert advice to other professions and carers.
- Assist in the overall day-to-day running and management of the facility under the guidance of the Clinical Director.
Requirements:
- Possess a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and meet all requirements for HCPC registration.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council is essential.
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with children, families, and young people is crucial, and post-qualified work experience in a clinical environment is desirable.
- At least one year of experience in an appropriate setting with children, young people, and their families is mandatory.
- Experience with developmental trauma and attachment difficulties or in children's residential care is desirable.
Typically working 37.5 hours per week from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, this full-time position offers the flexibility of negotiating part-time arrangements if required.
