A regarded secondary school in Mickleover is looking to appoint a bright Psychology graduate as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant.
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychology Graduate to join a leading school. This exciting opportunity is an ideal role for a recent graduate looking to gain experience in an educational setting while supporting students in their academic and personnel development.
As a Graduate Learning support assistant, you will work closely with student who require additional learning support in both a one-to-one and also a small group setting. Your role will involve assisting with lesson delivery providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, and ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities – Graduate Learning Support Assistant
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with all different educational needs and support.
- Assist teachers in delivery lesson plans adapting materials for students with varying abilities.
- Help students gain effective study habits, organizational skills and academic confidence.
- Monitor student progress.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the wider educational team to implement strategies that support teaching outcomes.
- Full-time Monday to Friday term time.
- Pay between £500 - £540 per week.
What we’re looking for – Graduate Learning Support Assistant
- A Psychology Graduate with a 2:1 within a top 30 University matching A-levels and GCSE’s.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting there learning.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and student needs.
- Patient and proactive approach to problem-solving.
