What you will do:
- Manage an allocated caseload, which includes handling high complexity and high-risk child protection cases, among others.
- Conduct assessments and devise comprehensive care and support plans, ensuring solutions are within budgetary limits.
- Collaborate effectively with all services for optimal resource deployment.
- Apply a range of social work techniques tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals requiring care, as well as their families and carers.
- Promote positive outcomes by providing professional support, advice, and decisions that are based on well-documented evidence.
- Safeguard the welfare of children and adults at risk, taking immediate action where necessary to protect those at risk of harm.
- Be part of a duty system team, responding promptly to emerging cases and executing immediate crisis management strategies.
- Serve as a role model and mentor within the team, guiding new social workers and students through supervision and case collaboration.
- Ensure all plans and interventions are thoroughly documented, reviewed, and adapted as needed.
