Social Worker - Children with Disabilities in Tiverton UK earning up to 44 pounds per hour DoE This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced social workers to join the Children with Disabilities team in Tiverton on a flexible, part-time basis. What you will do:

• Assess and support the needs of disabled children and their families, ensuring high-quality, tailored care plans are developed and implemented.
• Attend and contribute to case conferences, reviews, and meetings, representing the best interests of the children you work with.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams, including health, education, and other social care professionals, to provide cohesive support for children with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with policy and guidelines ensuring transparency and accountability at all stages.
• Participate in regular supervision and training to maintain and enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Requitements:

• Candidates with recent or ongoing experience in Child in Need CIN and Child Protection CP casework, especially with Children's with Disabilities, will be given priority. This role requires candidates to be flexible with travel across Mid and East Devon as the county’s rural nature necessitates access to reliable transportation.
