What you will do:
- Support in the management, development, and leadership of the Early Help team.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children, young people, and families.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-agency environment to deliver high-quality services.
- Manage and report within a court environment, if applicable.
- Write detailed and concise reports, providing thorough analysis of evidence.
- Work closely with key partners in safeguarding.
- Allocate and check work of other social work staff, ensuring quality and timeliness.
To thrive in this role, you must have significant post-qualification experience in statutory Children’s Social Care service, coupled with experience managing complex cases and families. A degree (or equivalent qualification) in social work and current registration with Social Work England are essential. A full UK driving licence, access to a car, and a laptop are also required for this role.
