Are you ready to take on an exciting opportunity as a Prison Cleared Pharmacy Technician in Portland, UK? This role offers a competitive salary of £23.52 hourly for weekdays (PAYE before holiday pay) or £26.36 per hour including holiday pay, equivalent to £30 per hour umbrella. Initially, you will join us for a 3-month contract with the likelihood of an extension. You’ll be working full-time Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, at HMP The Verne, a secure yet rewarding work environment.

What you will do:
- Provide efficient and accurate pharmaceutical services within the prison, ensuring inmates receive the correct medication and healthcare advice.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal care and treatment plans are in place for patients.
- Maintain and manage stock levels of medication and disposables, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
- Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice, contributing to the health and wellbeing of the prison population.
- Ensure documentation and records are accurately maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements of the Prison/HMP Pharmacy Technician:
- Must be registered on the GPHC/must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy
- Prison clearance and experience is essential
