What you will do:
- Utilize your highly specialist clinical skills to manage a caseload of children with complex difficulties in speech, language, communication, and/or eating and drinking (dysphagia) as well as AAC.
- Identify, assess, and diagnose communication and swallowing impairments and independently determine appropriate interventions for effective treatment.
- Develop the school's Communication Charter by identifying suitable universal, targeted, and specialist levels of support.
- Provide guidance and whole school training in functional communication, covering receptive, expressive, and interaction skills.
- Collaborate with schools to enhance communication support provision, identifying strengths, gaps, and training needs to develop comprehensive plans.
Requirements:
- HCPC Registration required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Car driving is preferable
