What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the speech, language, and communication needs of children.
- Develop tailored therapy plans to meet individual EHCP goals effectively.
- Provide direct therapy through individual sessions and group interventions.
- Collaborate closely with families, educational staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.
- Monitor and evaluate each child’s progress, adjusting therapy plans as required.
- Maintain precise records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes, adhering to professional standards.
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss cases and share valuable insights.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or trauma-related issues.
