What you will do:
- Conduct advanced clinical assessments of patients with complex MSK conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based treatment plans, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
- Act as a first point of contact for MSK patients, triaging referrals and managing caseloads independently.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and support staff within the MSK team.
- Contribute to service development, including the implementation of new pathways, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with consultants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with HCPC and NHS standards.
- Participate in audit, research, and training to enhance clinical practice and outcomes.
- Deliver health promotion and preventative advice to patients to support long-term MSK health.
Requirements:
- You must be HCPC registered and have at least 2 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- While having a driving licence is preferable, it is not mandatory.
