What you will do:

• Be the allocated social worker for children and young people in care, developing assessments and care plans catering to long-term needs.
• Undertake therapeutic interventions and work collaboratively using a multi-disciplinary approach to enhance outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in high-quality supervision, reflective practice, and annual appraisal for continuous improvement of professional practice.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and maintain thorough and accurate records using electronic case management systems.
• Manage and coordinate multi-agency support, safeguarding plans, and care proceedings where necessary.
• Engage and support children, young people, and their families or carers, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in all decision making.
• Participate in team meetings, share knowledge and contribute to the development of the service.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, safeguarding the wellbeing of the children you work with.
