General Manager – “Leisure Venues” - Bristol - £40,000
My client is a leading Leisure and Entertainment business with a variety of activities for all ages young and old. As General Manager, you will lead a team to ensure the success and high performance of multiple venues. You will focus on developing a strong talent pipeline, coaching your team to maximize their potential and deliver an immersive experience for guests. All this while staying true to the core values: energy, courage, flexibility, and balance.
Experience Required:
- Proven General Management experience in hospitality, leisure, or entertainment venues with high volume and performance standards.
- Energetic, resilient, and decisive leadership with sound judgment
- High personal accountability and integrity with a passion for team coaching and development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with staff, peers, support teams, and senior management.
- Commercial acumen to manage and drive revenue streams, including admissions, sales, marketing, and food & beverage.
- Determined to drive new business, exceed sales and revenue targets, and deliver high standards of guest experience and retention.
- Experience in driving sales and identifying strong ROI through local marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of food and health & safety regulations to ensure safe, clean, and legal operations.
- Flexible leadership style to manage the varied demands of the role with a consistent desire to improve.
- Proficient in using a variety of systems, tools, and Microsoft packages.
- Innovative approach with an awareness of market trends and competition
