History Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher for a well-established secondary school in Walsall, rated Good by Ofsted. Job Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective History lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
• Plan and mark lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and create a positive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with the department and school staff to ensure students' success
• Provide support for students’ progress and academic development

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
• Excellent subject knowledge of History and the National Curriculum
• Proven experience of teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive classroom environment
• Passion for delivering quality education and inspiring students
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
