Year 6 Teacher

Flourish Education are seeking a Year 6 Teacher to work in a Good-rated Primary School in Bartley Green. This full-time, long-term position starts in January and runs until July 2025, offering the chance to make a significant impact on the academic journey of Key Stage 2 pupils.

Our client is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher, who can plan, prepare and deliver lessons for a Year 6 class. This role would entail identifying areas where children require additional support and plan lessons accordingly.  This role would be best suited to an experienced teacher who has excellent behaviour management skills in addition to having previous SATs experience.

As a Year 6 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment.
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Ensuring excellent behaviour management to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils in preparation for end-of-year assessments.
• Collaborating with colleagues in this 1-form entry Primary School to enhance the learning experience.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

We are looking for a passionate Year 6 Teacher with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
• Proven experience as a Primary Teacher with expertise in KS2.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• A commitment to planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
• The ability to inspire and engage Year 6 pupils.
