Primary Teacher

Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Primary school near Solihull to join their staff on a long-term basis. The school strive to provide for the all-round development of the children and want them to achieve the highest academic standards of which they are capable.

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a Year 4 class who has a good knowledge of the curriculum, can plan and deliver engaging lessons and monitor students’ progress. There are 22 children in this class consisting of 2 children with SEN. This role will involve full class teaching responsibilities including preparing tasks, planning, marking and attending staff meetings.

This Primary Teacher role is to start in January and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is part time, 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday).

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary Teacher role:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience in KS2
• Commitment to the role
• High standards of teaching
• Plan and deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
• Marking and assessments
• Attend staff meetings
• Raise children’s attainment
• Create a positive learning environment
• Effectively work alongside teaching assistants and other members of staff

Working for Flourish Education as a Primary Teacher you will receive:

• £162.31 day rate to £223.63 day rate which equates to £31,650 per annum to £43,607 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Teacher opportunity is located near Solihull which is easily commutable from Balsall Common, Chelmsley Wood, Marston Green, Bentley Heath, Dorridge, Shirley and most areas of Birmingham. Solihull and Coventry via car. The Primary school also has an onsite car park.
