Design Technology Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Design Technology Teacher to join a highly regarded Secondary School in Sandwell. Rated “Good” by Ofsted, the school is committed to maintaining high educational standards, encouraging each student to strive for personal and academic excellence. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Secondary Teacher with a strong grasp of the National Curriculum and excellent subject knowledge to inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4).

Job Role:
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:

• Lead engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, with full class responsibilities including planning and marking
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and hands-on learning
• Use excellent behaviour management to maintain a focused learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student performance
• Actively participate in school events, contributing to the school’s vibrant community

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for secondary education
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, specifically in Design Technology
• Proven classroom experience with excellent behaviour management skills
• Enthusiasm for inspiring young minds and promoting high standards
• Experience in a Secondary School environment, preferably within KS3 and KS4
