We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Adults Social Worker at an East Surrey Hospital. This role, lasting for a period of three months, will allow you to work within the hospital setting and experience the diversity of tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere. You will be part of the dedicated Social Work Team, striving to make a positive difference for individuals across West Sussex. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients regain their independence post-hospital discharge. In this role, you'll enjoy a flexible working arrangement, spending three days a week at the office and two days working remotely. Pay is up to £38 per hour.

What you will do:

• Deliver a statutory social work service, being accountable for the support and assistance provided to individuals.
• Employ a compassionate and empathetic approach to support those in need, championing their independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of social work practice.
• Assist patients, encouraging skill and independence regaining post-hospitalization.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
