Health & Safety Advisor Based in North Wales working on a long term contract £350 - £400 per day potential to move permanent RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the Managers of HS&E in the promotion and use of H&S policies and procedures in conjunction with the project's Policies. - Assist the Senior and Manager of HS&E to lead the development of company H&S objectives, policies, procedures, and standards. - To conduct Senior safety checks on the project with the H&S Advisors. - Produce monthly and yearly HS&E performance statistics and reports. - Produce and publish HS&E documentation to a high standard. - Work closely with the operational teams in carrying out their roles and HS&E responsibilities. - Assist the operational teams in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work. - Support the operational teams in developing and reviews RAMS. - Conduct regular and robust health and safety Inspections & Audits. - Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported in a timely manner, and are also effectively investigated, contributing to Incident Review Boards. - Assist Management teams in the development of health and safety related documents. - Advise and assist in the identification of health and safety training requirements. REQUIREMENTS: - Worked on heavy civil projects - NEBOSH Certificate (preferably Construction) or equivalent. - Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g., Tech IOSH or above). - Experience working in H&S positions. - Experience of working in construction and heavy civil environment - Environmental qualification (IEMA or equivalent). - Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Standards.
