Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a temporary Paralegal to join a dedicated legal team in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. This full-time role offers a competitive pay rate of £18.26 per hour.Role Overview: Working under the general direction of the Lead Lawyer, the Paralegal will support the litigation team on housing disrepair and general housing cases. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional to contribute to critical case management and gain valuable experience in housing law.Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive support to the litigation team.Manage the IKEN LAST housing disrepair spreadsheet, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.Open and manage new Iken files for housing disrepair claims, handling initial case steps, such as: Responding to claimant solicitors.Instructing surveyors.Requesting disclosure documents from client departments.Preparing disclosure documents. Prepare, revise, and finalise court documents, bundles, and reports.Draft costs schedules and conduct legal research as needed.Support solicitors with court applications and related documentation.Manage the litigation inbox and handle postal correspondence.Produce customised reports, collecting and collating data for meaningful presentation.Handle a limited caseload of housing disrepair files. Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: Qualifying Law Degree (LPC, SQE, or BPC).Experience: Strong knowledge of one or more areas of law, with demonstrated administrative or case management skills.Compliance: Right to work in the UK and the ability to provide professional references.
