Sanctuary Personnel is looking for a temporary Leases and Transactions Surveyor to work in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.Pay: £22.51 per hourContract: Temporary, Full-time hoursKey Responsibilities: Lease Management: Oversee lease agreements, including negotiations for lease renewals, terminations, and rent reviews, ensuring compliance with Council policies and relevant legislation.Property Transactions: Manage acquisitions, disposals, and other property transactions, conducting valuations and cost analyses to inform decision-making.Asset Optimisation: Work alongside the Property Services team to identify opportunities for asset optimisation and support strategies that maximise value and service efficiency across the Council’s portfolio.Stakeholder Relations: Act as a point of contact for tenants, service users, and key stakeholders, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring effective communication. Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: Degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field. RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) membership is preferred.Experience: Experience in property transactions, leasing, and asset management, ideally within a local authority or public sector environment.Compliance: Right to work in the UK and references.
