English Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting for an English Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated English Teacher to teach full-time across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. The role starts immediately and is initially until Easter, with the possibility of extension.

Job Role:
As an English Teacher at this supportive secondary school, you will:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
• Plan, prepare, and mark work to ensure pupil progress.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum.
• Monitor and assess students, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning.

Required Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this English Teacher role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school environment.
• Excellent subject knowledge of the National Curriculum for English.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their potential.
