Flourish Education is seeking a full time Science Teacher to join a GOOD-rated Secondary School in Oldbury. This exciting opportunity involves teaching Biology up to Key Stage 5, as well as Chemistry and Physics to Key Stage 4. The school is known for its supportive environment, excellent facilities, and commitment to student success. The role is due to start immediately until July.
Job Role:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Teach Biology to Key Stage 5, and Chemistry and Physics to Key Stage 4.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Mark and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Collaborate with the Science Department to contribute to curriculum development.
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Excellent behaviour management skills.
- Passion for inspiring students to succeed in science.
Working as a Science Teacher for Flourish Education Offers:
- Pay rates from £160 to £225 per day (£31,200 to £43,875 per annum).
- The option of PAYE or Umbrella.
