The Job Role

As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in line with the National Curriculum.
• Inspiring students to develop their skills, teamwork, and enthusiasm for physical activity.
• Effectively managing classroom behaviour to foster a positive learning environment.
• Preparing and assessing students’ work to monitor and support their progress.
• Adapting to various school settings and building strong relationships with students and staff.
• Participating in extracurricular sports activities when required.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a PE Teacher with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognition as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE and excellent subject expertise.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to adapt to a variety of Secondary Schools and year groups.
• A genuine passion for teaching and promoting health and fitness.
