As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in preparing the classroom and lesson materials.
- Assist children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and Challenging Behaviour.
- Manage behaviour within the class and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide tailored support to children across Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and Early Years (EYFS).
- Encourage pupils' engagement and ensure they meet their individual learning goals.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere within the Primary School setting.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous UK school experience is essential.
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Experience working with SEND students, including Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and Challenging Behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support the Class Teacher and pupils.
