Send Teaching Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to work 1:1, gain experience with Key Stage 2, and be part of an inclusive school community dedicated to every child's success.

This role is a long-term, full-time role, starting ASAP and is on a two week rota of 2 days, week 1 and 3 days, week 2.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 support for a Year 5 child with additional and complex needs.
• Collaborating with the SENCO, class teacher, and external agencies.
• Supporting inclusive learning practices tailored to the child's needs.
• Delivering intervention programs and maintaining progress records.
• Encouraging resilience, flexibility, and teamwork within the classroom.
• Ensuring excellent communication with staff and families.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous UK primary school experience.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Experience working 1:1 with children with additional needs.
• A commitment to inclusive practice and the ability to support learning activities.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications.
• Strong communication skills, resilience, and adaptability.

Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including:

• £85.02 to £98.41 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum based on working five days a week for a full school year.
