As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Supporting children with SEND on a 1-1 or small group basis.
• Collaborating with the Class Teacher to implement tailored learning plans.
• Working across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Supporting children with SEND which can include, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), Hearing Impairments, and Non-Verbal Communication Needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant or TA in UK schools is essential.
• Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 in childcare or education.
• Experience working in a PRU, Alternative Provision, SEND Hub, or Special School is advantageous.
• Knowledge of supporting children with SEND.
