Send Teaching Assistant

The responsibilities of this SEND Teaching Assistant role includes:

• Provide 1-1 and small group support to children with SEND across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Support children SEND including Autism, ADHD, ASD, Communication and Interaction difficulties, Complex Needs, Challenging Behaviour, and other SEND needs.
• Collaborate with SENCo, Class Teachers, and Outside Agencies to create and implement individualized learning plans.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment that enables children to thrive.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous UK school experience, particularly in supporting children with SEND.
• Knowledge and experience working with children who have SEND.
• Experience working in Pupil Referral Units (PRU), Alternative Provision (AP), SEND/SEN Hubs, or Special Schools is highly desirable.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Class Teachers, SENCo, and Outside Agencies to support individual needs.

• £85.02 to £98.41 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
