Send Teaching Assistant

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children across the Primary School age range, including Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Providing tailored support for children with Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
• Assisting with learning activities inside and outside the classroom.
• Collaborating with teachers to deliver the National Curriculum.
• Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
• Previous UK school experience as a Support Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Learning Mentor, or similar role.
• Experience working with SEND in Primary Schools, PRUs, Alternative Provisions, or Special Schools.
• Knowledge of SEND strategies and behaviours.
• A passion for supporting children to achieve their potential.
